Building and Launching New Products
at a Series C B2B SaaS proptech

Date

2021-2022

About

Plentific is a London-based proptech scale-up that offers a marketplace and several SaaS products to both public and private rental sector. I joined in 2021 as their first PMM prior to Series C $100Mn raise.

Challenges

  • New market expansion (US & Germany) and extending product-market fit to new use cases and buyer personas

  • New product expansion

  • Lack of centralised product & mkg data and launch process

My Scope

My mission was to enable revenue growth and product adoption.

I was responsible for the UK, the US and German markets and seven product lines, including property services marketplace (Repairs & Maintenance), Resident Repair Reporting App, Field Service Management Software, Inspections, Compliance, Asset Management Software, Analytics, Payments and API & Integrations.

Plentific also acquired 2 companies where I worked on integration. I also supported co-founders by identifying opportunity gaps in product and market for new acquisitions. Plentific doubled headcount since I joined and planned on growing our Product Strategy team from 3 to 7 people in 2022.

I spearheaded initiatives (some of which are below) that increased subscription and transactional revenue growth with product strategy and marketing activity.

My Responsibilities

Inbound

  • I influenced product roadmap by gathering market, user, competitor insights; providing monthly market scans to and identified most interesting competitors, M&A candidates

  • I set OKRs, KPIs and easily reportable product marketing analytics suite

Outbound

  • I developed go-to market plans for product releases and ensured timely launch, owning product messaging, positioning, value proposition, sales enablement

  • I created on-platform prompts, banners and upsell pages with UX Designers, educational content and customised onboarding flows, content marketing suggestions to increase lead gen and support sales
